Suprasorb Liquacel Hydroactive Fiber Dressing
Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb Liquacel dressing absorbs wound exudate and transfers it to a secondary dressing, helping maintain an optimal level of moisture in the wound. Upon contact with wound exudate, it also forms a gel that traps bacteria and cellular debris.
When Suprasorb Liquacel hydroactive fiber dressing is dry, it can easily be cut to the desired size. When wet, it can be removed from the wound in one piece. This feature minimizes the risk of dressing residue remaining in the wound.
By absorbing wound exudate and transferring it to the secondary dressing, it helps prevent wound maceration (A).
Upon contact with wound exudate, it forms a cohesive gel (B).
This gel traps bacteria and cellular debris (C).
