The trocar is used to provide access for laparoscopic instruments and equipment into the abdominal cavity and consists of two main components: the cannula (Sleeve) and the blade (Obturator). The body structure of the bladed trocar is designed to easily engage with the abdominal wall, while its transparency enhances safety and convenience during surgical procedures.
All surgical instruments with diameters ranging from 4.5 to 12 mm can be inserted and secured without the need for an adapter, using only the flexible silicone valve inside the trocar. In addition, for ease of use, the different and intermediate sections of the cannula body can be easily separated.
