Antibacterial Silver Calcium Alginate Dressing (Suprasorb A + Ag)

Suprasorb A + Ag silver calcium alginate dressing reduces bacteria on the wound surface and is therefore highly suitable for infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection, including MRSA and VRE. It is also very soft and flexible, allowing it to conform to virtually any wound bed.
Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb A + Ag silver calcium alginate dressing has a very high wound exudate absorption capacity and is therefore used for wounds with heavy exudation. Absorption of wound exudate causes sodium ions to exchange with calcium ions, resulting in gel formation. This gel traps bacteria and cellular debris while creating a moist wound environment, which supports faster wound healing.
