Actico UlcerSys is a two-layer medical compression stocking specifically designed to prevent the recurrence of venous ulcers and to treat varicose veins in the legs. In the initial stages of acute venous disease of the leg, short-stretch compression bandages can be used. Actico UlcerSys compression stockings should also be used during the acute stage of the disease once edema has been reduced, as well as during the healing phase over the treated wound.
