The Endo Cutter stapler is FDA approved in the United States and is manufactured by the Chinese company GoldenStapler (one of the largest manufacturers of surgical staplers). This stapler is used in laparoscopic / endoscopic abdominal, gynecological, pediatric, lung, and esophageal surgeries for tissue resection, cutting, and anastomosis (except for the central circulatory system).
The stapler places six rows of staples in the tissue and creates a cutting line between them. The staples are arranged in such a way that blood supply to the tissue at the suture or hemostasis site is not disrupted.
