The linear stapler is used for stapling the edges of lung tissue, transection of the intestine, blood vessels and bronchi, as well as triangular intestinal anastomosis. Linear stapler cartridges are available in three sizes: 30, 45 and 60 mm. The 30 mm cartridge is available in white for thin tissues such as blood vessels and green for thick tissues such as bronchi. The 45 and 60 mm cartridges are also available in blue, yellow and green, making them suitable for tissues of different lengths and thicknesses.
