The latex body provides suitable strength and flexibility, while the complete silicone coating improves biocompatibility, reduces sensitivity, inflammation, and encrustation, and provides greater comfort and safety for the patient. The three-way design allows urinary drainage, balloon inflation, and simultaneous bladder irrigation, while its smooth and slippery surface facilitates easier insertion. This catheter is available in both straight-tip and curved-tip versions. The straight-tip version, with its direct rounded tip, is more suitable for general use and for most patients with a normal urinary tract, whereas the curved-tip version, due to its curved tip design, facilitates passage through the urethra in patients with an enlarged prostate, urethral stricture, or obstruction and reduces the risk of tissue injury.
